Paula, but as yet the post has not been accepted, even though another one on a different topic was posted straight away.

RHP has a strict policy of only promoting RHP "friendly" clubs. And I for one understand and respect that policy. However, and I KNOW they read this forum, they also know it does not do the

Swinging population any justice by sticking to this policy and not promoting EVERY club. But business is business and its their site and their rules.

Adult Matchmaker have once again come to the party and will be promoting the club heavily to their large database of swingers. They have been very kind to Renee and Jeff in the past, and they look to continue this trend. I know Luke and Paula do not have a HUGELY high opinion of dating sites, but at least AMM are helping the bulk of clubs in SE

QLD with promoting the

Lifestyle, and we should at least be aware of that.

I think the best exposure to "great people" in the lifestyle comes from THIS site more than anything. More and more people we talk too know about it and read the posts.

p.s. I've been sitting on the details of the new club for a couple of weeks, with a sworn promise to R & j not to spill the beans as there really was nothing concrete regarding leases etc until the monday after the closing party (and what a nailbiter that became). The new clubs SENSATIONAL... its going to be a super location to meet people and play. And the band Danny Fai Fai are AWESOME.. We were with Renee when she saw them. We cannot wait !

It is great news indeed but an absolute misuse of RHP's broadcasting powers not to do whats best for the greater swinging comunity .
We are excited about this new venue and hope everything goes well for renee.
We missed closing night but will try our hardest to be there for the opening of the new club.

RE: RHP.. their website, their rules. Utopia has been a supporter of AMM in the past and RHP has a strict anti AMM policy as the market is very competitive (apparently). We all know the "scene" is bigger than just dating sites, so really it's not an issue and Renee doesn't see it as one.

Do they think we are all stupid? It's OK to have a favourite clube, or to have sponsors, but censorship and no posting articles - please?

We have not had very much success on Red Hot Pie at all....and find AMM much better as a swinger dating site. Admitedly we only had a standard membership on Red Hot Pie and Platinum on AMM, but we just found Red Hot Pie less user friendly aswell. No great loss if you ask us. AMM seems to have a much larger database of swinger couples in our opinion, and therefore is probably a better vehicle for events postings anyway.

Why should your level of membership at one of those sites make any difference to how many people look at your

Profile?

I'd agree that you are, in effect, 'buying advertising space' and a front page ad costs more than a few lines in the classified section.

But if the site has a database stored in alphabetical order by age, location, or something else that has nothing to do with how much you pay, why should how much you pay affect the results?

I think we are being taken for fools by these sites. The annual membership far outweighs the benefits.

The sites seem to be run by people with no real understanding or experience in the thing they are promoting.

we try clubs partys and single couple meets...then WE deside what we like..
Petty back stabbing by some site and club owners only puts us off talking to them when we visit their clubs...if at all.
