The night started with butterflies in the tummy, but were soon settled. The electrician arrived early to put a couple of finishing touches together, but we soon had a blackout because in a blonde moment I had bought the wrong voltage lights! OMG! But the super sparky soon had the problem fixed and the mirror Ball looking spectacular! We put all the lights on and the place had the WOW factor Dave had been working towards for the last two long weeks.

Then the James Bonds and Bond girls started to arrive, all dressed to the nines and looking beautiful. So many people had gone to a lot of effort and the 007 Theme was a huge hit. The Champagne started flowing and the Danny Fai Fai band kicked off.  The guys were sensational and really got the crowd in the party mood. the dance floor was packed to the point You couldn't even see the band and some guests didn't even realise It wasn't a CD Playing!! If you missed theme this time, you will be able to catch them soon. (More about that later.)

Once Graham and his beautiful wife arrived we were able to say our thank yous to them, Dave and his beautiful wife, and everyone else that had helped. We then cut the ribbon to the first floor and really got the party started! Then another hiccup when the toilet door handle fell off! And then another one! Even funnier, it was the locksmith stuck on the inside! (but he hadn't fitted these, and he didn't have his tool belt on!)

We still have a few more things to do and a couple of other WOW factors to Come, but overall the venue worked very well and everyone went Home happy :)

The place was full of people almost daily, as work progressed. A loud voice shouts no - one move, think Dave think how can I fix this in 2 minutes or less????????? Ah huh got it, but in all good things there is a price to pay & managed to fix it 60 seconds but in doing so I drove the brand new powerful battery drill into my thumb & tore it open, what a start to the night. But hey it all worked out, everyone had the WOW looks in thier eyes & all the hard work & loooong hours was all worth it for the record I had a 25 hour working day the day before so thing would be ready but still so wanted party at the new club. We danced to music met some nwe friends & caught up with old friends & Utopia is back bigger & better. Yes there is more to do & to look forward too, but we were smiling all night along with everyone else. The finishing touches are not far away, watch this space.
